This looks good. Probably a good item to protect your investment.

Also, Dream of Battles Long Ago from Xenogears sounds like it would make good soundtrack to a TW show, or maybe something else.

My new toy (the thing that took the picture, not the RISK piece).

As you can see, I'm still learning how to use it.

Just listening to Hummell Gets the Rockets from the The Rock soundtrack on www.thescorestation.com - another soundtrack that has music that sounds just like Pirates of the Carribean. Funny, since Hanz Zimmer was also the one that did the Gladiator soundtrack, the connexion between which and Pirates I believe I have commented on.

Well, like they say, Good Composers Borrow, Great Composers Steal.

Tut tut. Looks like RCAin. That is, the Lyra didn't measure up as I did more looking at the specs on it and the AV320. And, as a bonus, since Archos' customer service is supposed to be terrible, I was lucky enough to find that they sell the unit at my local Circuit City. Bonus.

Site that sells AV320 battery replacements and EU 220v AV320 compatible AC adapters. Suite.

$28 Adapter
$34 Battery ($64 for 2)
$8 Torx driver

Free shipping on all. Yay.

Just to pass the time away?!?

I'm sorry, but even a hundred years ago (or whenever the song was written) there MUST have been better things to do than hard manual labor for that purpose. I'm pretty sure fishing was invented by then. And relaxing under a tree for a mid-afternoon nap. Pretty sure they had naps back then, too.

On a lighter note, I had the enjoyable opportunity to conduct the OCB in Sousa's Sempre Fidelis last night. Dr. Root asked me why I wasn't a music major, which flattered me. It was a lotta fun. Hopfully I'll get to do it again sometime.

This morning my patience was severely tested as I worked with a customer on the phone who wanted to read EVERYTHING on the screen to me. I tried to politely cut in to tell him exactly what to do, but he just plowed ahead. Good thing I only work with people like that every once in a while. Oh, well. Fun stuff.

Speaking of which, I have to check my email to see if RCA's customer support measures up. If they've responded and sent the information I've requested, I may be able to proceed with my Lyra purchase and try it out with the jpg transfer via CF from the Canon A70 (although Circuit City only has the A75).

I'll be adding people to the jingles tool-a blogness today.

Well, more later.

How much should a person base his self esteem on other peoples' opinions? Probably not that much. Still, it is fun to see what other people think. In light of that I added a new sidebar item to my quotes, links, and favorites blog. Enjoy. Vote me for president. I mean good lookin'.
