The Hap-hapiest Season of All
All my life I could never figure out what time of the year I liked best until last night. After I got done watching Pirates of the Carribean in German at my friends house I was walking home and there was a nice breeze blowing. I decided that the best time of the year is on the first day when it feels like spring has arrived. Incidonically (ironically + incidentaly) it was a full moon and clear sky, so I could see my shadow in the moonlight as I walked. Good old Pirates in the moonlight. At least I didn't look like a rotting guy.

We have a green light!
This doesn't happen every day. Not even every month. And now Twice in the Same Month?!? Sweetness.
You do meet the most different people at work. You don't, on the other hand, ever really get to talk to the lady at the DMV. What you do is just take a number and then sit there until you have to leave for work. Then you go do the same thing the next day. Fun stuff, no?
song of the day: Adagio for Strings arranged for marimba quartet

2morrow iz Ben'z Bizacheoalr Par-Tay. Kickin'.
Next week is fun. I'm thinking a nostalgic second time's the charm.
I (heart) DeepFreeze. -> Betrapped
I'm sure when I'm 80 I'll read this blog and not know what the heck I was talkin' about. Good times, good times.
MSN Messenger Beta is out.
50 Gmail invites available... so if you don't have one just let me know and I'll getcha one.
headache of the month: juggling homework
most engaging class of the semester: CS 4750 (Go, go, SMPro!)
song of the day: For Now by Bela Fleck and the Flecktones
color of the day: yella
tome of the day: Wintellect's Programming Microsoft Visual Basic .NET
jumpin' place of the day: The Stick
food of the yesterday: Pie (probably the best I've ever had, of that flavor)
breakfast of the day: PB&J and a barrel of milk (that's what my sis called it, anyway - even though it looks t'me like a bottle)
lyric of the day: ...suffering from extreme hearing loss. His ears are here for decoration purposes only.
APA (Anti-Procrastination Artillery) of the day: the desire to not stay up past midnight to finish my next VB project like I did on Wednesday
Which is what I'd better get back to if I want to hit the targets.

Tillykke
Burn the candle at both ends... at once.
Go the homework. Here's the last hour of fear-oh-too-vuh.
One of my favorite stories I remember reading as a child was one by A.A. Milne. It tells about how Piglet was running with a great red balloon to give to his ever-gloomy, thistle-eating friend, Eeyore. Piglet ran too fast and fell, popping the balloon. He was heartbroken because his gift was ruined. But sniffling a bit, he gave it to Eeyore anyways. And here we see perhaps the one time that Eeyore smiles. He accepted the gift because it was given in the spirit of friendship and represented the best he had to offer, despite his fallability. Then Piglet and, for once, Eeyore were happy. It is this kind of friendship that is most valuable and worth having. The kind of friend I want to both have and be.

Where the Sidewalk Ends
link of the day: Skagen
One of my favorite places on the planet. Lyset over Skagen, or the Light over Skagen, is real, cool, and a bit erie when you first see it.
Yeah, over = over. Stop = stop. Camping = camping. But I = you (pl). Fun stuff, no? Which reminds me - I have to bust out the deutsch tapes I found at DI when we went there the other week with everybody. I still think Tim should get those groovy tropical pictures and hang them in his appartment.
(foreign, infinitive form) word of the day: at glæde sig
Yeah, it was the word of the day before, but that was for a slightly different reason.
Aaaaaaand the funniest thing just happened. It was funny to me, anyway. It would take too long to explain here and I don't think anyone else except maybe for Jarrett would find it funny. But he's in the 'TC.
Peace

Check it out, yo
Thenami Independant
Kickin' into high gear this month. Like, the 19th, or something.
Did you ever have something happen that you know is completely meaningless, but it still totally makes you smile?
Or something that means something and it makes you scared?
Or something that is 5 losses in a row to Ben in Showdown? [insert grumbling under breath here] No hard feelings, Ben.
Happy thought of the day: remembering that I had food in my a-back-a-pack-a
Happy memory of the day: the yert
Lyric of the day: We've run out of things to say, and we'll be happy anyway so...

Ye
Haw.
Yesterday I went on a (successful) $81 treasure hunt in the wee hours of the morning.
cool thing of the day: This man single-handedly solved a Rubic's cube.
I can't do that.
